Radhika Bharat Ram

Ms. Radhika Bharat Ram is the Joint Vice-Chairperson of The Shri Ram Schools, Delhi NCR and Board member of the SRF Foundation. She plays a pivotal role in shaping the school’s policies, recruitment, finances, and expansions as a member of the Executive Committee. Her notable contribution includes spearheading the design of the teacher training program, Enhancing Early Education Programme, under the aegis of the SRF Foundation 15 years ago. Additionally, she actively contributes to various committees within the Foundation, driving initiatives to enhance the quality of education across India. 

Under the aegis of Shri Educare Limited, an education consultancy company, she has been instrumental in setting up The Shri Ram Millennium Schools and The Shri Ram Early Years in the NCR region. Now on the Management Committee, her strong leadership and forward-looking vision shape the school’s success, improving education standards in the region.

In 2020, Radhika founded the KARM Fellowship, an educational institute, which works with driven young women from underserved homes in higher education. Her vision is to influence gender parity in work spaces over continued periods of time. Based on the four critical pillars of Education, Mentoring, Employability skills, and Community Service, the KARM Fellowship enables these capable young women to be financially independent and contribute meaningfully to their communities. 

Lending her name and voice to pertinent social causes, Radhika currently serves as the Chairperson of the Indian Blind Sports Association & the JPM Senior Secondary School for the Blind. She is also the Jt. Secretary of The Blind Relief Association, a non-government organisation working to empower visually impaired persons by imparting education and skill development training. 

She serves as a board member of HelpAge India, which works on the cause and care of disadvantaged older persons to improve their quality of life.

The impactful contributions by Radhika span renowned organisations, reflecting her commitment to social progress through education. She spearheads various endeavours as a trustee of the Ananta Aspen Centre, board member of Teach For India, Delhi, and co-chair of the CII National Education Council. 

Radhika, a devoted trustee of CAPED – Cancer Awareness, Prevention, and Early Detection, actively champions the cause of women-centric cancers, focusing on cervical cancer. She passionately promotes awareness and advocates for the cause while emphasising women’s health and well-being.

With unwavering passion and dedication, she assumed the role of Hon. Secretary of Delhi Crafts Council from 2016 to 2020, channelling her profound appreciation for Indian arts and culture. Under her leadership, a series of transformative initiatives were undertaken to preserve traditional crafts and enhance artisans’ livelihood prospects, ensuring an enduring legacy of their craftsmanship.

Radhika has been a member of the steering committee of CII Foundation Woman Exemplar Program since 2014 which promotes women’s empowerment at grassroots level. She has also co-founded Theatre For A Cause to raise funds and create awareness for NGO’s through Theater.

As a Founding member of AVPN Asia Gender Network supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, she hopes to help further the cause of gender equality and improve outcomes for women and girls in Asia.

Through her diverse efforts, Radhika makes a lasting impact, advancing gender equality and improving lives in Asia.

Her remarkable achievements have garnered prestigious accolades, including the Mahatma Award for Social Impact 2021 and Women of the Decade in Community Leadership 2019 by Women Economic Forum. She is recognised as a change maker in the influential book ‘Why People Give’ by Ratna & Suhasini Vira.

Radhika holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University. She has further enriched her knowledge through executive education programs at prestigious global institutions, including the Harvard Business School in Boston and INSEAD.

Outside her professional pursuits, she finds joy in learning music, reading books, pottery, and running, having run multiple half-marathons.
