Our Legacy

Rooted in one of North India's most respected business legacies, the Shri Ram family has long believed in creating meaningful, lasting social impact. Inspired by Sir Shri Ram's vision that education can open the doors of prosperity and reduce inequality, this legacy has continued across generations through institutions dedicated to education, research, community development and social progress.

Founded by Padma Shri Mrs Manju Bharat Ram, The Shri Ram Schools nurture confident global citizens while staying rooted in Indian values and traditions.

A Journey of Purpose

1926

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC)

Sir Shri Ram established SRCC with the vision that education can open the doors of prosperity and social progress. The Commercial College became affiliated with the University of Delhi in 1926, formally bringing commerce education into the university system.

1956

Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR)

Established by Sir Shri Ram in memory of his wife, Lady Shri Ram College for Women has grown into one of India's leading institutions for women's education. In an era when societal norms restricted women's freedom to pursue their dreams, it was among the country's few all-women colleges.

1970

SRF Ltd.

Established by Padma Bhushan Late Dr. Bharat Ram and Mr. Arun Bharat Ram, inspired by Sir Shri Ram's vision. SRF Ltd. has evolved into an Indian multinational enterprise, and SRF Foundation supports education and skill development through community programmes across the country.
