Shri Arun Bharat Ram

Shri. Arun Bharat Ram is the Chairman of The Shri Ram Schools and Chairman Emeritus of SRF Limited. A third-generation entrepreneur, he began his career with DCM Ltd. in the late 1960s and went on to establish SRF in 1970 as a manufacturer of nylon tyre cord. Under his leadership, SRF grew into a globally recognised organisation with businesses across fluorochemicals, speciality chemicals, packaging films, technical textiles, and coated fabrics, exporting to more than 90 countries.

An alumnus of the University of Michigan, Shri. Arun Bharat Ram has played an important role in promoting corporate governance, quality management, and professional leadership in the Indian industry. He has also contributed to education and policy initiatives through his association with organisations such as CII and various national and international forums.

Deeply connected to the values of education, art, and culture, he continues to guide TSRS with a vision of nurturing thoughtful, creative, and compassionate learners. In his words, “The Shri Ram Schools endeavour to create independent thinking, creative and sensitive individuals, who will serve as torch bearers to further ignite many more minds and create a world painted with love, beauty and happiness.”

Ms Vasvi Bharat Ram

Ms Vasvi Bharat Ram is the Joint Vice Chairperson of The Shri Ram Schools, Delhi NCR and Board member of the SRF Foundation. She plays a pivotal role in shaping the school’s policies, recruitment, finances, and expansions as a member of the Executive Committee. Her notable contributions include spearheading the design of the school’s acclaimed International Baccalaureate Program, launched in 2005. Additionally, she actively contributes to various committees within the Foundation, driving initiatives to enhance the quality of education across India.

Under the aegis of Shri Educare Limited, her family’s renowned education consultancy, Ms Vasvi Bharat Ram pioneered the establishment of The Shri Ram Millennium Schools in the National Capital Region. Now serving on the Management Committee, she continues to shape the school’s success with her unwavering leadership and vision, thereby elevating the standard of education in the region.

As the Education Chair of the YPO Delhi Chapter, she was honoured with the prestigious Best Education Year award, surpassing all eleven chapters in YPO South Asia during 2013-14.

Furthermore, Ms Vasvi Bharat Ram is the immediate past President of FLO, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). As the premier women’s business organization in the country, FLO has been working on driving impactful initiatives for economic independence and actively advocating crucial measures to be undertaken by the Central and State Governments.

For over fifteen years, Ms Vasvi Bharat Ram has dedicated herself to the noble cause of women's empowerment. As a valued member of FICCI’s Education Committee, she has led numerous campaigns to uplift women in education. Her efforts include creating employment opportunities for women in non-teaching roles within schools and addressing crucial concerns surrounding child safety.

Ms Vasvi Bharat Ram holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi University and a post-graduation diploma in Business of Fashion Management from the London College of Fashion. She has further enriched her knowledge through executive education programs at prestigious global institutions, including the Harvard Business School in Boston. Her entrepreneurial journey began with crafting exquisite wrought-iron furniture, home accessories, and artefacts, captivating the local market with her distinctive designs.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms Vasvi Bharat Ram finds solace and inspiration in the transformative power of books, the enriching experiences of travel, the harmonies that resonate within music and the captivating world of theatre.

Ms Radhika Bharat Ram

Ms Radhika Bharat Ram is the Joint Vice-Chairperson of The Shri Ram Schools, Delhi NCR and Board member of the SRF Foundation. She plays a pivotal role in shaping the school’s policies, recruitment, finances, and expansions as a member of the Executive Committee. Her notable contribution includes spearheading the design of the teacher training program, the Enhancing Early Education Programme, under the aegis of the SRF Foundation 15 years ago. Additionally, she actively contributes to various committees within the Foundation, driving initiatives to enhance the quality of education across India.

Under the aegis of Shri Educare Limited, an education consultancy company, she has been instrumental in setting up The Shri Ram Millennium Schools and The Shri Ram Early Years in the NCR region. Now on the Management Committee, she brings strong leadership and a forward-looking vision that shapes the school’s success and improves educational standards in the region.

In 2020, Ms Radhika Bharat Ram founded the KARM Fellowship, an educational institute that works with driven young women from underserved homes to pursue higher education. Her vision is to advance gender parity in workplaces over an extended period. Based on the four critical pillars of Education, Mentoring, Employability skills, and Community Service, the KARM Fellowship enables these capable young women to achieve financial independence and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Lending her name and voice to pertinent social causes, Ms Radhika Bharat Ram currently serves as the Chairperson of the Indian Blind Sports Association & the JPM Senior Secondary School for the Blind. She is also the Jt. Secretary of the Blind Relief Association, a non-government organisation working to empower visually impaired persons by imparting education and skill development training.

She serves as a board member of HelpAge India, which works on the cause and care of disadvantaged older persons to improve their quality of life.

Her impactful contributions span renowned organisations, reflecting her commitment to social progress through education. She spearheads various endeavours as a trustee of the Ananta Aspen Centre, board member of Teach For India, Delhi, and co-chair of the CII National Education Council.

Ms Radhika Bharat Ram, a devoted trustee of CAPED – Cancer Awareness, Prevention, and Early Detection, actively champions the cause of women-centric cancers, focusing on cervical cancer. She passionately promotes awareness and advocates for the cause while emphasising women’s health and well-being.

With unwavering passion and dedication, she served as Hon. Secretary of the Delhi Crafts Council from 2016 to 2020, channelling her profound appreciation for Indian arts and culture. Under her leadership, a series of transformative initiatives were undertaken to preserve traditional crafts and enhance artisans’ livelihood prospects, ensuring an enduring legacy of their craftsmanship.

She has been a member of the steering committee of CII Foundation Woman Exemplar Program since 2014, which promotes women’s empowerment at the grassroots level. She has also co-founded Theatre For A Cause to raise funds and create awareness for NGOs through Theater.

As a Founding member of the AVPN Asia Gender Network, which is supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, she hopes to advance gender equality and improve outcomes for women and girls in Asia.

Through her diverse efforts, Ms Radhika Bharat Ram makes a lasting impact, advancing gender equality and improving lives in Asia.

Her remarkable achievements have garnered prestigious accolades, including the Mahatma Award for Social Impact 2021 and the Women of the Decade in Community Leadership 2019 from the Women Economic Forum. She is recognised as a change maker in the influential book ‘Why People Give’ by Ratna & Suhasini Vira.

Ms Radhika Bharat Ram holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University. She has further enriched her knowledge through executive education programs at prestigious global institutions, including the Harvard Business School in Boston and INSEAD.

Outside her professional pursuits, she finds joy in learning music, reading books, pottery, and running, having run multiple half-marathons.
